My name is Randall “Todd” White and this is my second tour at Emma Sansom Middle School
as the 7 th Grade Civics and Geography teacher. Also, I serve as the Builder’s Club (Kiwanis)
Sponsor, S.G.A Sponsor, and Lead Teacher for ESMS summer enrichment program. I first
taught at Emma Sansom from the fall of 2005 through the summer of 2012 as the 8 th Grade
World History Teacher, before completing a brief tenure with the Alabama Education
Association (AEA), then serving as Agri-Science teacher for Crossville High School and then
returning back to ESMS in January 2016.
I graduated from Crossville High School in 1999 and finished with a Bachelor of Science in
Agricultural Economics from Auburn University in 2004. Then, consecutively I completed a
Masters of Education in Social Science in 2007 and an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.)
in Secondary Social Science in 2008 at Jacksonville State University. Furthermore, I
completed a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from JSU in 2018 and I am currently
working on my Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) from the University
of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky plan to graduate in the summer of 2021. In
addition, I hold an Alabama Class B educator certification in Agri-Science (6-12), AA
certification in Secondary Social Sciences (6-12), Alabama State certification as a Trainer in

Hunting and Firearm safety and National Archery in the Schools (NASP) Trainer Certification.
Also, I serve as Treasurer for the Professional Association of Gadsden Educators (P.A.G.E)
and a member of the AEA State Legislative Commision.
I am married to Andrea Glenn White and we have one daughter, Briana, who recently
graduated for Northeast Alabama Community College and works in Huntsville, AL. My wife,
Andrea, is also a certified elementary and special education teacher and serves as the Lead Pre-
K teacher at Highland Elementary in the Etowah School System.
